Humble beginnings in a basement and garage laid the foundation for Legacy Production Group. Founded in 2015 by Tom Gorman and Tom McKnight, the company was built on a simple vision: a relentless pursuit of perfection, quality, and genuine customer relationships. What started in a basement grew organically and through word-of-mouth into our first 5,000 sq ft warehouse, and has since expanded to our current 75,000 sq ft facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Today, we offer plenty of services, including corporate event production, touring support, rentals for lighting, audio, video, rigging, and beyond. We also provide sales and repairs, and take care of production management to make sure everything comes together just as it should. We’re extremely proud to be trusted by Fortune 500 companies such as Boston Scientific, Mayo Clinic, Medtronic, Target, Minnesota Timberwolves and high-profile musicians such as AC/DC, Jane’s Addiction, Hippo Campus, Atmosphere and Avatar.

Our Studio: Creativity Meets Innovation
Located in Minneapolis, minutes from downtown and 30 minutes from MSP Airport, our 65 x 38 soundproof black box production studio features everything you need to stay inspired and relaxed, from dressing rooms to a production office, a fitness center, and even an arcade. It’s the perfect place to create, rehearse, or just take a break. While you’re welcome to use our equipment and personnel if needed, you’re completely free to bring and use your own as well.
